I picked up the starter set because I figured it’d be a good deal for getting started, but I was kind of confused by what was actually included. For the price, it felt a little light. The paints are okay, but nothing that really stood out to me, and somehow I still ended up needing to buy extra things soon after. It’s not bad, I just thought a beginner kit would cover more basics.

I had a good experience overall. I reached out to support with a couple of questions, and they actually got back to me really fast, which I appreciated because I was kind of stuck and didn’t want to just guess my way through it. The videos were also a big help. Painting can feel a little confusing when you’re not totally sure what you’re doing, but watching the steps laid out made everything feel a lot more manageable and less intimidating

I’ve been using The Army Painter Speedpaints on my minis, and at first I was a little unsure, but wow, they’ve really grown on me. The paint goes on nice and smooth, and the way it settles into the details almost feels like cheating in the best way. One minute I’m relieved because I’m saving so much time, then the next I’m weirdly excited seeing the shading just happen on its own. Not every color behaved exactly how I expected right away, so there was a tiny bit of frustration and testing at the start. But once I got a feel for them, they became super handy. My models look good quickly, I’m not stuck painting forever, and that makes me happy. Definitely glad I picked them up...

I ordered a set of paints, i figured it would be straightforward: order the colors, get the colors, plus the brush I paid for. But two of the paint colors were wrong, and one brush was missing from the box. Support did get back to me after a few days and sent one replacement, which was fine, but I still had to follow up about the missing item. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but when you’re planning a project, you kind of expect the basics to be right

It covered really well and just dried fast, which was exactly what I needed.

I had a easy time using the site and finding what I needed. most sites make this kind of thing way more annoying than it has to be, but checkout here was simple and didn’t give me any trouble. The only thing I noticed was that a few pages felt a little slow for me, but that’s basically how every website is these days. Nothing major though. Overall, it was a good experience.

I’m always a little nervous ordering paints online because it doesn’t take much for something to leak, crack, or show up with the boxes all bent. Thankfully, everything arrived really well packed with no broken paints or damaged boxes. happy with how carefully it was shipped

I wish I’d thought this purchase through a bit more. The return was accepted, which was a relief, but the refund took forever and I had to contact support twice just to get things moving. It wasn’t a total nightmare, but the whole process was annoying enough that I definitely have some buyer’s remorse.

They had almost all the paints I needed in stock, which was a relief. One color was sold out, so I had to switch up my plan a little, but it wasn’t a huge deal. Weirdly, I remember the box had this tiny smudge of blue paint on one corner, which felt very on-theme. Overall, good experience and I’d order from them again.

I tried a few Army Painter paints the coverage has been really solid. Most of the colors only needed one or two coats, even over primer, which made painting way quicker and a lot less frustrating. I’m happy with the paints so far, though I did feel a little ignored when I had a question and didn’t really get much of a response. Still, the actual product has been good.

I really wanted to love this set, and there are definitely a few colors that worked nicely. That said, the quality felt a bit hit or miss for me. Some of the paints were more watery than I expected, and a couple of shades started separating quickly. The brushes were okay at first, but they didn’t hold up for very long. It’s not a terrible set by any means, but for the price, I was hoping for something a little more consistent

I do like some of the colors, and a few of them went on smoothly. But... the consistency was kind of all over the place. Some paints were fine, while others came out really thick or looked separated even after I shook them a bunch. It’s not awful, and I can still use them with some thinning and extra mixing, but... for the price, I was hoping they’d be a little more reliable.

I’ll admit I’m a little picky about brushes, but the tips started splitting after just a few uses, which was disappointing. They’re not awful or anything, and I can still use them, but for what they cost, I personally expected them to hold up better.
